Miniaturized Ka-Band radio for small satellites

RADIOSAT for SATCROSS: a payload on board a LEO satellite system, consisting of multi-frequency transmitters and receivers operating in the Ka band.

The SATCROSS project is a feasibility study of a space mission for the observation of tropospheric water vapour, based on an active differential measurement technique (NDSA: Normalized Differential Spectral Attenuation) and on a train of co-rotating LEO satellites.

Goal: providing an estimation of 2-D (3-D) water vapour fields on vertical sections of the troposphere on a continuous time basis.
