Junior electronic engineer

Job description
We are looking for an electronic engineer to join our R&D team. The candidate will design and improve electrical and electronic subsystems for space applications. The fellowship, funded by Area Science Park, will be available for 1 year with recruitment possibility after expiry of the contract (salary will be commensurate with experience).

Task and responsibilities
– Simulation, development, and testing of electronic hardware and subsystem (power supplies, logic, amplifiers)
– Design of PCBs from schematic to layout
– Support the R&D team to improve current products

Qualifications and requirements
– Age <35
– Basic ability to use Spice simulator (i.e. LTSpice, Multisim, Tina)
– Basic knowledge of RF components
– Basic knowledge of SMPS
– Good problem solving skills
– Proactive attitude and ability to work in team and individually
– Basic English level

Junior tele­communication engineer

Job description
We are looking for a telecommunication engineer to join our R&D team. The candidate will design and improve RF subsystems for space applications. The fellowship, funded by Area Science Park, will be available for 1 year with recruitment possibility after expiry of the contract (salary will be commensurate with experience).

Task and responsibilities
– Simulation, development, and testing of RF hardware and subsystem from UHF to L
– Support the RF team to improve current products
– Manage link budgets

Qualifications and requirements
– Age <35
– Basic ability to use RF simulators (i.e. CST)
– Basic knowledge of ISO/OSI stack
– Good problem solving skills
– Proactive attitude and ability to work in team and individually
– Basic English level

Junior embedded software engineer

Job description
We are looking for a junior embedded software engineer to join our R&D team. The candidate will develop operating software routines for SDR (Software Defined Radio) transceivers for space applications. The fellowship, funded by Area Science Park, will be available for 1 year with recruitment possibility after expiry of the contract (salary will be commensurate with experience).

Task and responsibilities
– Development of software for embedded Linux systems (Yocto)
– Support on software architecture concepts and improvements
– Realization of algorithms according to the requirements
– Theoretical background in computer architectures, operating systems and programming languages

Qualifications and requirements
– Age <35
– Basic high-level programming language skills (C/C++ and Python)
– Comfortable with debugging software issues.
– Good problem solving skills
– Proactive attitude and ability to work in team and individually
– Basic English level
