PICOSATS participates in the POR FESR program 20121-2027, Friuli Venezia Giulia with the project “RADIOSAT Q/V”.

PICOSATS S.r.l., a leading satellite telecommunications company spin-off of the University of Trieste, is pleased to announce the closing of its second investment round of €2.13 million.

This opportunity will enable PICOSATS to reach flight heritage and enter the SATCOM equipment market with flight proven products.

PICOSATS received € 7.128,11 in the frame of the program PS 101/2020 POR FSE 2014/2020, Friuli Venezia Giulia, to support the adoption of innovative models of work organization and appropriate IT tools in a context of smart working/emergency during COVID-19 pandemic.

PICOSATS has received 56.938,56 euros for the implementation of a new and more efficient business organization thanks to the POR FESR 2014-2020, Friuli Venezia Giulia. The project aims to study a new organizational model to meet the unmet need (production) and improve business efficiency.

At the Space Exploration Masters, organized by ESA the 31st October 2018, the RISE team, composed of Picosats and the Department of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Trieste, impressed the jury, and got awarded by a ticket to the ISS.

This year the 4S Symposium (Small Satellite System and Services) organized jointly by ESA and CNES, will take place in Sorrento (Italy) from the 28th of May to the 1st of June 2018. We will attend the symposium presenting a paper and a poster. Come and meet us there!
